`One of the best, healthiest, and nutritious drinks I have ever had is a homemade smoothie. The recipe is simple and can easily be changed to suit your personal taste. You can have this delicious drink right in your hand in less than 5 minutes. All you need to do is follow this fun recipe:
You will need;
Any type of fruit juice (I'm using orange juice.)
Fruit chunks (I used frozen mango and pineapple to keep mine cool and I also used a chopped up kiwi.)
You will need ice to keep the smoothie cool.
For equipment I used a blender and a plastic cup and straw.
Method:
Firstly, I took my blender and filled the cup up halfway with chopped fruit. I then added about 5/6 ice cubes and filled the cup all the way to the top with orange juice. I blended it until smooth and then got out my plastic cup ready to pour in the smoothie. Once the cup was full, I added a straw. Finally, I sat down in the sun to enjoy my refreshing smoothie.
As you may have noticed, the cup I used is from Costa. I decided that I would start reusing plastic to help save the environment. Plus, in my opinion, a cup with a straw is way cooler than an ordinary glass :) .
